Formella krav:

  • Have you got a Bachelor's degree and a paralegal certificate? Alternatively a comparable combination of education and work experience?
  • Have you got an advanced understanding of patent prosecution?
  • Have you got an advanced understanding of the European Patent Register online portal and the online filing portal from the European Patent Office, as well as of the PAIR portal from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office?
  • Have you worked for at least 3 years at a law firm or in-house setting? Preferably at least 6-8 years with both law firm and in-house experience.
  • Are you proficient in patent docket-management software, Word, Excel and so on?

You will provide administrative support to our Intellectual Property (IP) team and it is a unique opportunity to join our company at an exciting time.

To the position as IP Paralegal, we wish to employ someone with the knowledge, experience and interest of/in the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Providing support to SHL’s Intellectual Property (IP) team. This includes administrative tasks, requiring experience of patent and trademark filing and prosecution, docket management, maintenance fees and billing.
  • Exhibiting extensive knowledge of patent docket management tools, such as IPENDO, and demonstrating ability to work with docket management internally and with external counsels.
  • Coordinating and assisting with the preparation, execution and filing of formal documents for patent and trademark matters.
  • Participating in different department projects and initiatives, when needed.

In addition, we believe that you are well organized and that you have strong time-management skills. You also have excellent communication skills and you enjoy working in a global team. Along with your attention to detail and your ability to perform administrative work, you also manage to multi-task as well as prioritise among your different assignments. All while maintaining a high level of ethic and a great sense of responsibility.
